I didn't even notice the rear spoiler, it blends in to the back gronud.

Am I the only one who is completely unimpressed by the styling?

It looks like a bog standard German saloon with a go faster front end and body-kit. It looks a million miles from the rally heritage it came from.

Maybe it's better in the flesh

Problem is the 'rally heritage' is long dead and buried.

Front looks OK
Side view looks really dull
Rear looks incredible minus the ugly spoiler

I suppose it's all about pleasing the American market. Gone are are the days of producing an affordable performance saloon that looks the part.

We now must welcome the family bargemobil with 4wd for that extra safety when taking the kids to school, and a few slap on faster bits for dad.

Don't think you have read the motor show link properly

and you can’t buy it (if you’re not in Japan) Americans won't be having this, i'm sure we will get them imported to the UK, this will be alot more hardcore than the soft stuff the USA has.
