Don't worrie it is a 2.35

Just getting a bit stuck for time to get this car together so just wondered what off the shelf set ups the was. If I have to make custom up and down pipes then that's what I will have to do. If I'm going to do that then will probably run a GTX3076R

So that looks like the RCM twisted kit with a GT35R. GT35R is to big for what I need and will probably run a GTX30 or similar but the twisted set up looks like it might work. I will have to get the engine back in a see if it is likely to fit or foul. Would hate to just buy it and have to alter to fit.

I'm sure if you spoke to them they would do you a kit with the 30 instead of the 35.
Don't think there will be any fitment problems.
What you putting it into?

I can source a turbo from my turbo supplier so not a problem. The kit will just save me fabrication time but I have to make custom boost pipes and intake anyway. Going in a 2015 STI

Nice, don't see many of the newer shapes getting modified over here so will be interesting to see!

Clinic GT30 Billet + is mega on a 2.35, excellent spool and will make the power you desire with enough boost.
I'd always choose the smallest turbo you can do the reqd power with, rather than over sizing and losing low down grunt.

I would just buy RCM as it works, I bought Dazdavies billet 35 and it made full boost 2.1bar on his 2,5ltr engine at 3100rpm on a front mount turbo set up.

I had mine on the RCM rotated setup and mine made full boost on the same turbo at 3300rpm on a smaller 2.35ltr set up and mine was running 2.3 bar.

You get what you pay for when you push higher numbers and cheap stuff doesn't cut it.

Yeh I ordered the RCM rotated set up and a Garrett GT35R billet with V band exhaust housing. If it dose full boost by 3500rpm on a 2.35 I would be happy with that but think some more head work would be needed

Got to this stage then the spec was changed slightly so had to pull it down again for head work. Heads are just back now so on with the build and I will post some pics when done.

CNC Port job turned out nice on these 2015 STI heads and along with custom cams improved peak air flow by around 35% with improvements across the board at all valve openings.

Looks good if its not the final fit, I would still wrap the manifold before fitting

Mark from lateral is a top bloke and supplied 90% of the parts on this build. I have delt with Mark for around 10 years and always had good prices and great customer service, Would definitely recomend. Had a few bits from RCM too and again a good bunch of guys over there and good customer service
