Wheres my whats it worth thread gone???? Fao mods
As above i had a thread on here asking what people thought some forged bits were worth so i knew what to advertise them for and now for some unknown reason the thread has gone. Theres loads of whats it worth threads pop up in scoobynet general, so clearly it wasnt breaching any rules so why has mine been removed???

Any "what's it worth" threads should be binned, IMO, regardless of paying membership.
There should be a separate section, that's only accessible to paying members.

9/10 what's it worth threads are basically back handed for sale threads.
Not saying yours is by the way mate, but I think it's usually the case.
In this day and age if someone can't go on the net and get an idea of what something is worth well there's something wrong.
"what's it worth threads shouldn't be allowed regardless of membership" just my opinion

This place should be renamed Moneynet.com,,, not much of a car enthusiast forum this place when you can't even ask any questions when trying to sell some parts without paying money to the greedy webmaster first!! This place is a business not a car enthusiast forum!

This place isnt an enthusiast site anymore, most enthusiast sites contain people that want to help if you have a question, on here its the opposite, which is why i dont bother posting much on here unless i need to.

A lot of people on here want to make themselves seem and feel important on an internet forum and **** on everyone elses chips
Theres another couple of whats it worth threads in the last 2 pages in here, yet noone posted the bullsh1t in them, they gave a price and life moved on yet my thread gets dragged out by people who have no intention to help with the op and therefore no real reason to post in here, i.e making themselves feel important, if you wanna be a mod mate then pm admin, no doubt theyll find a spot for ya.

Sigh.........you aren't seeing it are you?
I don't want to be a mod, and they wouldn't have me if I did...there's history.
But I've been around a LONG time and seen what the forum WAS and what it's descended to now. If you think it's bad it's BECAUSE of the quality of threads, and loads of WIW threads don't help.
Also, it has been noted in the past that at least 50% of WIW threads are an attempt to get round paying.
That's my two penn'orth, take it or leave it, it's all the same to me.

if you can't get advice on WIW on a subaru forum where else should you go to find out?
mumsnet? keyboardwarriors.com? dogginginyorkshire.com?
if you don't like the title, don't read the thread! simple!
they should create a section for WIW threads, if you don't like them, don't visit the section

But they haven't...and won't.
I'm not alone in being fed up with the forums being clogged up with fake posts about what stuff's worth, 90% being thinly disguised For sale threads, hence their removal by mods.
It's not what I joined for, and has driven a LOT of very knowledgeable folk away, to the detriment of the rest of us.
Seriously, if you want to know what something is selling for, cheackout ebay. Or sell on there.

Hopefully it'll change back towards how it was, no idea if that will happen though. Things weren't helped by the very untimely loss of 2 very knowledgeable posters.
Time will tell, I guess.

The demographic of SN is changing, you've been around a few years now Gaz, surely even you can see that. A lot of people have moved away from Subaru's in general, or they just don't bother posting anymore. Couple that with the amount of fools that can't stirng a sentence together joining, then I can't really blame them, to be honest.
