Best cheap family car???
Hello to all,
So time has come to part with my bmw to raise funds for our wedding. What would be the best family car to go for?? Budget as cheap as possible really up to £1000 ish.
Was maybe thinking impreza sport estate?? We have one little dude with a car seat. Do average sorta miles. Circa 100 miles per week.
Any input most appreciated.
Thanks, Tom.

Renault scenic, I said I would never buy French again but didn't have a big budget. With 2 kids its a huge car and comftable. I call it the family bus. Been alright so far although ive only had it a few month 😝

I don't mean to be rude, but if you're having to sell your car and buy a £1k ****ter, you're being silly blowing what sounds like too much money on a single day.

Would there be a anything to look out for on the impreza sport estate? How many miles would this do being fully serviced and well looked after??
Cheers, Tom.

I've had a standard non turbo as my daily driver and its been completely bullet proof. Bought needing new clutch. All i've done is cambelt and servicing in 35,000 miles. Plus 4 wheel drive in winter so safe for family. If you went for a bug, you can pick them up for next to nothing with low miles.

Been looking at a 2.2 2009 Honda Type-S TDI, 140bhp and can be mapped to 190. Hearing good things about them. Fast and very economical considering their hefty 1450ish weight.
