Worth a try nothing like a cheap fix 👍id also be checking my exhaust gaskets up/down pipes when stone cold so not to burn my hands' a lot easier if running a front mount 
soon gets hot though . I ate chasing noises drives me crazy

Tried to upload a sound file with no success
it's like a low pitched Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr if you can imagine it

Just to update on the trumpet /fog horn sound
After checking the pipes over and over removing the I/C a couple of times without finding the fault.
I swapped out the the recirculating dump valve for another one, and all is good in the world
