Hurst Cars have a good reputation on here. SVA Imports are another one who are getting better.

I bought my Evo from SVA last year and they were great to deal with.

As above though, an import won't be cheaper, it'll be more expensive

How easy was the process in getting the car? Did you pay upfront, or small deposit before final payment? Did they do everything they say on the website? (full service, belts, inspection ect) and how long did it take from saying "i'll buy it" to driving away with it?

I only ask because I'm regularly hunting on their site for a new car.

Very easy.

They sent me some pictures of the car when it was in the docks in Japan, and i paid a £500 deposit (refundable)

It did take a while to arrive, mainly because it'd just missed one boat so had to wait for the next one.

When the car arrived i went down and saw it before they'd done any of the jobs (service, belts, underseal etc) and was impressed so said i'd definately have it.

Picked it up a few weeks later after waiting for the DVLA to register it.

I paid my deposit at the middle/end of March and picked it up in June (can be done quicker if you are lucky with sailing times)

I was very very happy with the car, they even sprayed the front bumper without me asking as there was a tiny scuff.

I'd happily use them again, or recommend them to anyone
