Default V3 Exhaust

I have a stainless centre section & backbox that I want to fit to my 1997 V3 STI that has a 'locked' ecu. What problems am I going to encounter if I go ahead without a remap? Thanks for any advice.

I have a stainless decatted on mine with a big k&n, otherwise standard. Never caused me any issues, ran 326 bhp @ about 7000 rpm on SUL with octane booster.

The 6S ECU in the V3 Sti will be fine running, a sports cat, centre section and back box with a performance panel filter. Just make sure you are running 99Ron with octane booster.

p.s. the octane booster was only for the rolling road day, normally just use SUL. I ran the like that for 7 years and 40k miles with no problems - it's been garaged since 2006, looking to get it back on the road shortly though.
