Default Classic horn witing help

I've got my mot next week and have an aftermarket steering wheel on the car (99 type r)

Off the clockspring there is a white plug with 3 wires going in, then a plug with a black wire coming out.

My steering wheel horn has a spade connector in the middle, and 1 off centre.

I'm not great with electrics so dont want to go poking around, but once I know which wires go where I can probably do it.

I'm just finding the single black wire off a 3 wire plug a bit....odd.

Anyone help?

No big deal, the horn earths through the steering wheel switch (Horn button), so a single black wire is right.

Touch to earth, see if the horn sounds.

I did think that would be the principle but I was only trying an earth to the steering boss. I'll take it to my mates garage pre-mot as he has a tester
