Default What's it worth damaged?

I'm sorry for another whats it worth thread! As some may know my car was hit whilst in traffic last month. I'm currently arguing with the insurance as to what the car is worth to replace as their first offer is embarrassing! I've been offered to buy the car back for a good price. It's being recorded as a Cat D. Just wondering what people think it's worth as it is to sell on complete to recoup some money back. I know it's worth a lot more in parts to break, but I just haven't the time. Spec before the accident is as follows:

-2004 (53) Wrx Sti Type Uk
-Just hit 60k with FSH
-I'm the 3rd or 4th owner
-TSL Motorsport TSL333 pack fitted 2005 which consisted of:
--Green cotton panel filter (I replaced like for like at last service)
--TSL Motorsport 3" exhaust system with high flow sports cat
--Uprated fuel pump
--Ecutek Remap
--PSI3 Ecutek Data Monitor (which I'll be taking out)
--Turbosmart supersonic dump valve
-new clutch at 50k apparently Exedy just before my purchase
-Godspeed grooved disc/Kevlar pads fitted approx 1k ago
-Tegiwa alloy radiator fitted less than 2 years
-Prodrive front bumper grill like on wr1 but plastidipped black/matching mesh on upper grill (now damaged)
-"v" limited style front splitter
-Genuine JDM impreza front grill badge only 2 weeks old.
The car is very original, all original panels stamped Subaru/chassis number, all matching glass even original subaru stamped windscreen. Paperwork has lots of receipts and every tax disc from new has been kept, car came with original dealer numberplates too which I replaced but kept safe. It has a few age related marks (dents/light scratches) as it's was a daily.

Accident Pictures:

I'm hoping to accumulate enough money from the insurance and sale of the car to purchase another one to put me in the same situation I was in pre-accident. I'd appreciate any advice or thoughts!

That's never going to be cost effective to repair, too much damage.

Worth more than 2k as it is, assuming the engine/gearbox is undamaged there's 3k straight away! Factor in boot spoiler, headlamps, bonnet scoop, interior, STi tmic, VF35 etc and you're already over 4k. Its the reason so many of these cars are getting broken nowadays....

You might not get that much as the breaker will want a profit margin, but still... all depends on what it costs to buy it back.

My 2004 STi was written off in January 2013 and I bought it back for salvage.

Agree the write off value first with your insurer, you will probably need to provide them with examples of similar cars for sale.

They will use Glasses Guide to work out the replacement value and the last time I looked the figures were way off the current selling prices.

Once you have agreed how much they are willing to pay out you can negotiate how much to buy it back.

I got mine for about £2k and sold it to a breaker for £3k as a complete car.

Remember that breaking the car yourself is a pain in the neck, you need somewhere to do it, somewhere to store the parts and usually end up with some parts that don't sell (usually the body shell for a start)

Looking at those creases all over I#d be suprised if that was a Cat D and not a C

Right, finally after two and a half months the third party's insurance have paid out. Got a little less than I wanted but I have bought the car back and it's back home. It's definitely been recorded as a Cat D. I haven't got the time to break it, so what would people expect this to sell on for, or how much should I put it up for?
