Default 2.5 sti rebuild

Am looking to know the best way to go with my 2.5 sti it has done in piston 4 all the liners is 100% am going go with forged Pistons and rods and head bolts am thinking in around the 400bhp / 450 what's the best way to go and now much do you think it will cost for parts am also thinking of slim-tex for brain

Slim-tex is that akin to Southern-poofter, neither of which are known for their intelligence.

I think you must be talking about Simtek.

As for the build if you have no plans to go beyond your stated target you could get away with just 11mm ARP head studs, personally the bare minimum I would do given the 2.5's track record is 14mm head stud conversion and pinned block, that would mean if you decided you wanted slightly more there would be a small amount of scope for it.

If money is not a problem I'd go with closed deck inserts from
Alyn @ AS Performance which when I last enquired cost in the region of £600.
