Default Your car pictures being used by eBay sellers

Just noticed that 2 eBay sellers are using my pictures of my old car for there adverts?

Anyone else had this?

Its only the Lip spoiler they are advertising so I wouldnt worry personally - not like they are advertising your car for sale!

They've probably got it off a Google search. You can copyright images if you don't want them being used. I'd consider it a compliment that they're using your photos.

We had this before when selling a supra, we were getn messages asking why there was an ad for £14000 an another ad with the same car for £7000, we called the police they said to get in touch with eBay to remove the ad an advise everyone asking about the cheaper car ad to say it was a fake

His fully comprehensive insurance for his car said he was covered to drive other cars but in the small print it's only 3 party cover for other people's cars.

So lesson learnt!

and people wonder why i harp on about making sure you insurance is correct.

Anyway, yeah my das car pops up now and again, in fact let me go look and see if its up there again

Sounds doggy.. It that one of those scams where someone turns up with money expecting to view a car and then gets mugged!

I've had my pictures used before when selling on gay bay, reported the seller to ebay they removed the ad, they told me to ghost my photots i think its called, not a clue how to do that though lol

So you didn't get paid out for the car

As far as I know it's always been third party only cover on another car if you're fully comp on your own.

After a lot of arguments he got a loan to pay towards the car but still left me massively out of pocket.
