Default Compressor wheel noise?

Recently done a massive overhaul including my MD321T being stripped serviced and rebuilt by Turbo Dymanics. Started her yesterday and there is a high pitched whistle coming from the intake. It sounds like the compressor wheel because when I key off you can hear it slowing down etc. i have also changed the intake pipe to silicone. Is this noise normal? Is it something disrupting the air flow? Or something far worse like possibly lack of oil to turbo core causing noise?

As a precaution it might be worthwhile taking the turbo oil drain pipe off and cranking the car over (without starting) to see if oil is in fact getting through the turbo.

Mine makes a screaming type noise on high boost sometimes. It has done for the last year or two. It does change if I put a different spring in the Forge recirc valve strangely.

A mate had a highly tuned Audi Quattro that did the same. He had no idea why it did it though.

Sfs intake hose with a hyperflow filter .. Noise is there with the filter an maf off so I assume it Is either the turbine is now noisier, the intake pipe acts like a trumpet for noise, the core isn't getting enough oil (and is scraping) or there is a whistle past a join :-( ...
