Default Buying a Scooby... no WRX Saloons?

I'm going to sell my car to my brother. I want a Subaru, finances finally permit. I'm looking for a third generation WRX but only a saloon. I just noticed that WRX saloons seem to be non existent, only STIs? Is that the case in the UK?

Anyway if it is it just makes the 'choice' easier.

3rd generation as in 2002-2005? = Blobeye
If that is the case then there is indeed WRX and the WRX STi.

Your budget and future power aspirations will help aid your decision on which one to buy (along with your age)

I've confused generations there. I'm referring to the follow up to the hawkeye. I believe 2009-2013?

Current car is worth about 8 grand, have about 9 grand. 30 years old, insurance fine. Clean license etc.

Was initially thinking about a WRX saloon but they don't seem to have been put on the market in the UK.

3rd generation, I would go along with that (classic, new age, hatch) all gens had various facelift. 3rd gen saloon available from 2011 onwards, only available in STI form here. 17grand should get you in one.

They didn't come on the market until around 2010 I believe..

When you're talking about 3rd generation you mean, Classic, Newage, Hatch, right?

2010 I think they came to the UK, not so many around but I don't think i have ever seen one in just WRX spec, usually STI
