Clutch kit for 650bhp
where is the best place to buy and which one?
5 speed gearbox

Your 5 speed gearbox will let not handle anywhere near that sort of power. Unless its a dog leg box or something of that type.

I would agree that 650 is twin plate territory. Although someone on SN was advertising a six puk single plate that he reconed would do 700.... Hmmm

Hi Budgie, what 5 speed are you using that can handle 650bhp and what gear set does it have, any idea of what the torque rating is.

It's fine mate Iv driven one same as team legacys time attack car and Andy forest I would say it's pretty tested.

Not as heavy as you think, They have been tested very well by lots of people running big power, I know a couple with them in road card with around 450-500lbft...Not far off OEM really

Running an act extreme paddle in mine, is ok for road use, the organic would be slightly more road friendly but it's not a daily so it's fine.
Was thinking about a twin plate but really couldn't put up with the noise and would be right on the limit at this level and a triple is far too expensive and even noisier, so paddle it is.
The act extreme is rated to 725 ft/lbs from memory, I'm around 570 so still got more room
