Buying an import
Right gents, this is a bit of a follow on from a thread i posted last week. All i'm really after is a bit more info on buying a JDM import i.e. if there's anything in particular to look out for, what sort of documentation I should expect. That sorta thing.

Same as buying a uk car really, of course Japanese service history would be nice, but if you can't read it, what's the point lol
Full uk service is good, main thing I'd look for is rust, if they have been in the country for a while. They really need wax oiling as soon as they get to the uk

Thing with the service history is it hints at what the previous owner may have been like. Granted i won't be able to read it but if someone made the effort to keep it and hand it on when they sold the car, odds are they looked after it.
