i have 2 keys which both work for my blobeye but like the fat handed oaf i am i have somehow managed to get 1 of the cases to half come apart and no amount of swearing at it or trying to get it to push together is working so i have no option other than take the screw out and do it properly......

when i split it will it need re-coding and if so will i then have to re-code my other key?

no and you can add them to the alarm using the keypad in the car anyway

 

yeah i recoded my old keys to my last impreza after changing batteries,ok cool will get the screw out then
