both of those are 2004, the 2005 has arch extensions on the rear and different rear bumper

the widetrack has updated interior,dccd,114 pcd hubs and obviously the extra 10mm rear track hence the extensions.

thats 4 thing i know

I'm guessing the widetrack suffers even further transmission losses pushing it even further away from the WRX's acceleration ability.

Seat is mounted 1.5 inches higher and the seats aren't as huggy The elevated seating position makes a big difference. I prefer the prefacelift seating by a mile

Bug STi seats were better than the early or late blob ones as Dan says as they had better quality cloth and were a more snug fit - which is a good thing unless you're a fat git
Even the WRX seats on the non airbag seat bug models were better quality

I believe all the visual differences have been pointed out, but be warned that some people glue the widetrack arch extensions onto their cars, so if you're going to look at one, expect it to have the proper DCCD controller by the handbrake.

You also have changes to the front LSD, Gearbox and the addition of the Yaw sensors for the A-DCCD.
