Default Classic Coolant hose - header tank to rad ?

Anyone know where I can buy a single silicon hose that fits the Classic (99)?

Its the one from the header tank down to the top of the radiator which runs exactly in parallel with another one.

I'd like to do the lot but can't afford the £180 for the full 'ancillary coolant hose kit' that Samco do.

Any ideas other than buy a used one ? It's got a tiny split inside where it pushes over the metal pipe to the rad. I'm guessing it was perished already when the garage fitted a new rad a couple of months back.

Thanks for the offer - had already arranged one from a scrappie.

Anyone know if you have to drain the system or can you attempted to re-fit from the header tank end to the rad ?

Help !

No need to drain, you may lose a very small amount of coolant though.

If you must have silicon pipe, and want to do it cheaply, just buy a 1 meter length, 8mm I/D IIRC. That's all I did.
