Question Swapping 100 hubs to 114

My type R is 5x100 but looking around theres a better wheel choice for 5x114

I can get hold of a set of 5x114 front/rear hubs off a widetrack hawk but the question is, will my driveshafts fit?

I know i'll have to swap the suspension (not fitted yet anyway) and brake discs but dont mind doing this if its a worthwhile swap.

Anyone else done it?

You could get conversion spacers, smallest ive seen are 15mm and then get wheels with a suitable offset to suit.
Or these may help you.

Theres not a lot available as a wide fitment in 5x100, limited to rotas or xxrs really. In 5x114 theres a lot more choice as skylines, supras, mr2s etc all run 114

The problem with taking wheels from those cares, is that they normally have wider rear wheels, which isn't a good thing on an impreza, unless it's rwd!?

If you're trying to get under ABW arches etc and don't want the usual XXR rubbish then you could fit an 18x9.5 5x114.3. +15. Then add the adapters that are 15mm wide giving you an offset of 0.

rear driveshafts are longer and also the struts are different too.

I know the bolt pattern is different on the struts, and dont plan to change driveshafts, its just the hub swap i'm interested in. Might just have to go for it and see if they fit.

Pretty sure CDF hub-centric spacers can be ordered with a PCD conversion.
