V3 heater controls faulty? hot only on full

Any ideas people?

My type r heater works and blows hot only when set to max heat, otherwise its cold.

I'm thinking there is no air lock in the matrix and that the controls must be cream crackered?

My V3 has a similar prob,its cold when on cold but only couple of clics & its red hot been the same for the 4 years I've owned it.I recon its faulty controls & has never bothered me.

I think I have found the problem, although I cant test it yet.

I changed a bulb a few months ago and one of the multiplugs must have come loose, well, to the point it wasn't connected!
