The Epilogue
I never thought that buying a car would lead to the experiences I've had over the past 18 months or so.
SN and scoobies have an awful lot in common.
When you are in them all human life seems to be there - courtesy, respect for other users, mostly following the rules of the road, help when you need it, and of course prats who for one reason or another cut up others, try to show that they or their vehicle is better than anyone else's etc. etc. etc.
I'm afraid that every now and then I feel the need to show that not everyone will tolerate bad driving and that not everyone can be beaten into submission. The vehicle is what it says it is and the driver can use its capability.
They say you are what you drive, which is fortunate because if we drove what we are a few would have a big surprise.
If mindpower and mentality were the only way to buy a car then there's be a few shocks.
SN has been witnessing some examples of bad usage, a few hopelessly inadequate and outclassed Fiat 500s up against a Type 20.
Denser versus Mensa
(You never had a chance kiddies )
To the mature and sensible rest of SN firstly an apology for exacerbating situations and convening or stirring up the baboons' tea party. The only way to expose them is to tempt them to show themselves.
Next, thank you for contributing to a very pleasant episode in my life.
I never thought that replying to a car ad. would lead to interacting with and/or meeting really nice people.
SWS, group sessions and the vintage car rally have been delightful but the thing that sums it up was THAT wedding, not just the day and the people but also the thread.
SN deserves support and so I'll be carrying on with my subscription, which means that should anyone think I could be of help in some way please feel free to pm me.
(I can also give SN members first shot at the wheels in a week or so).
I've found something else to keep me occupied whenever I'm up into the small hours dealing with a client in Australia, and my daughter's finished her Sociology studies, so SN will be a much quieter place from now on I should think .
I hope that you and your families all get treated on Halloween, that Bonfire Night goes with the right sort of bang and that you have a great Christmas and very happy New Year.
As we say in this part of the world - "ta-raaa".

I hope your next car (and the forums associated with it) provide you with as much entertainment. But I bet you they won't
