400 bhp parts list for blobeye
Hi I'm after a parts list for taking my scooby up to 400 bhp with gd torque.
I currently have bought an rcm cone and should hopefully be buying a 3" cobra exhaust with sport cat.
I was thinking of getting the following;
Rcm 340 fuel pump
Sc 42 billet
Fuel pressure regulator
3 port boost solenoid
Up pipe
Headers ported
650cc injectors
Anything else? Or could u delete some of the above?

Also what car and engine?
If I was you I would get a SC38 as an SC42 will far exceed your target and above 400 tends to find the limit of standard parts
Blobeye uk sti 53 plate. It has an excedy pink clutch fitted 4k ago. It's got Godspeed grooved discs and blue stuff pads. Probably do more with the suspension as it seems abit of a boat compared to my old v3 type r. And it will need a remap of course.
but i hear you.For a proper usable 400+bhp you have to take into consideration all the supporting mods to make your car usable and safe, but for just extracting the extra power from your engine you was nearly bang on,and a good plan to start doing it

long stretch of road
road angel or similar

and it was low milege it had only done 18K but when i did change it,it was finished so in reality it was not really up to the improved torque which is what kills clutches Dead!!!The engine internals of a "well kept" Subaru STI will take 400bhp all day long.SJ.
he's not being stupid and starting with a wrx, the sti should be up to the job brakes and handling wise.
clutch will be OK if driven sensibly but no need to change until it does fail.

A 300bhp car with sorted suspension and brakes will be a lot quicker than a 400bhp one with soggy old springs and struts and cheap brakes, unless your just drag racing!
The standard STI brakes are not upto the job at all of handling an extra 100bhp in my humble opinion, they should really be looked at first before power mods, suspension next.. then power.

You could but i would'nt
the amount of heat they soak up especially with a uprated turbo running more boost and the engine working harder to generate the extra horse power,is not really needed when a more efficient front mount will do a better job of charge cooling then the standard top mount, plus they are more reasonably priced now so are a worth while upgrade.SJ.

He didn't mention track driving in his initial post.
I run BC coilovers which some consider to be budget, but they have performed superbly on my car and my wife's Subaru too,you might be able to get them cheaper but here is a link to them anyways.SJ.
