Default 2003 wrx check engine light

Hi,

Have a 2003 wrx should it have a check engine light? I don't seem to have a check engine light when I turn ignition on, also how do I clear fault codes/ reset ecu as car won't boost?

Thanks

Yes it should and I'm guessing someone has taken the bulb out, you need a code reader to read the codes
