I think they look nice in some classics and look well on a hawk but I don't think I'd ever fit them.

If I could get away without wheel spacers or wider wheels I would have them in a second!
Love the look, I first saw them on the Rocket Bunny cars and loved the racer look.

Each to their own though, I am sure many wouldnt approve.

Cant wait for your fitted pics

I like them and almost went for a set on my last classic, but once I factored in all the costs it didn't seem worth while. I hate the idea of huge spacers so wider/deeper wheels are a must which is expensive.
Plus once they are on then they are on, there's no going back if you decide they aren't for you.

Cheers everyone, I'm already running 10j wheels s I have the wheels already, at the moment though I have stretched tyres so keeps the wheels more a less legal, but I hate the look so wanna get some nice 275 rubber on and cover with some of these arches, just wanna see what they look like first

Im seriously tempted by these at the moment. My car is along the rocket bunny lines already, so think they will look great. I'm on 9.5s, so would need some spacers too. But just down to ££s as I've ploughed an enormous amount into my car since Feb

really not keen on those tbh, I like the full length of the karlton style ones ........... Still tempted, I really think they would finish the car off.

lol I'm teasing myself too!!! Had a shunt in Feb, which resulted in the respray and re-style in the photo. That pic was taken just before being remapped and was planning to get in the road the day after, but the bottom end went, sooooo, Engine Tuner 2.1, fmic, 6 speed and brembos now. Hope to be back on the road running in in a couple of weeks or so.

That looks nice . Good job . I don't go for body kits that much but I do like the look of it. Nice car mate . May be in black with the white wheels . Not. Saying it don't look good in blue.

I was mate, well and truly, but onwards and upwards as they say. Too late to worry now and lots of improvements made to safely run the higher power.

Still very tempted though

Why would you need spacers? See my build thread for what I am running on my classic and measuring up the ABW arches I will be 17mm past the edge of the extension and that is on a 9J....

I just assumed that as my wheels are nearly under my standard arches, they'd be drowned under the abw ones. Will have a read through though mate

Put proper tyres on there and see how you go #less of this stretch rubbish, some 255/40's will see the true width of those wheels, and if need be a 10mm spacer will be plenty....

my 17x9 et-10 is 17mm past the end of the classic abw extensions, and I will be fitting a 245/40/17 on it too if I can find anywhere with the nankangs in stock!

its a lot less than it was, had 225s before. I'll see how things go money wise I think.
Didn't know that about nankangs, I got those a while back from them.
