Nice car but has it been lowered? The rear looks too low.

As I recall this car has been for sale before, and if it was this car it was up for quite a lot more. I enquired about it last year when looking for a "family car".

It's a rare and beautifully engineered car for sure, and it's a lot of metal but unfortunately I don't think it'll ever be worth what it's worth, if you get my drift. The leggys unfortunately don't command high values.

Were I after a twinscroll Legacy, I'd save myself 60% of that asking price and get this, advertised on our very own forums.

The price of the one in the forum is +import duty and VAT? Otherwise it is too cheap to be true.

That one on this forum is still a bp5 with no Brembos, no 6 speed etc which are ten a penny nowadays whereas the tbsti are rare and will probably command high money due to rarity, it's a couple of grand over what I'd pay but still worth decent money considering mileage and the fact it's tuned by sti.
08/09 models are the ones to go for IMO if you can find one, or better still find a s402.

Doubt it, the tbsti has lower springs compared to the bp5 afaik and looking at the driveway, looks like it start to slope at that point.

£26k plus otr fees on top

They come with a ej20 if from japan, same engine as a spec c with avcs heads 276hp(that's the sti version anyway limited to 300)
The more I look at them, the more I'd sell my audi to buy one. Got to be the sti in grey though as they only made 3 colours of them, 2 shades of blue and dark grey which is one I contacted about but been sold in japan .
They guy said they are about between £10-£17k depending on mileage and condition.

The s402 is same as the sti but with a few extras like 6 pot Brembos, s204 wheels, reworked suspension and a few other tweeks, tested and finalised on nurburg ring.

Spec b's have the ej20 aswell but no avcs, no Brembos, no 6 speed etc so worthless IMO.

Ooooo a lovely wagon indeed.

I've got a Legacy Twinscroll

Only i wish it had the same block as the JDM Impreza Twinscroll and not the chocolate block it comes with. Other than that. A lovely car

Sadly the colour and auto box is a downfall for me (suppose I could wrap it). Just to note this will be a 260hp due to auto box, normally 280hp if it had the 6 speed.

Can anyone suggest any links for JDM auction sites?
I used to have a couple but have lost them and the goo-net seems expensive and doesn't have many choices.

I had dismissed the Legacy as a suitable next car, I had a Forester STi in mind as I need something more practical with a tailgate and I don't like Impreza wagons.

Now having seen these Legacy estate models it's now given me second thoughts, I really know nothing about them, does anyone have any links to a website where I can find out more about the various Legacy models?

Cannon, I've thought about the fsti, but I don't really like the look of them, look a bit of a noddy car.
Have a look via legacy forums or google, but basically you want the tbsti as it's jdm 2.0 twins roll found in spec c, and also better running gear.
The only other option is the gt spec b, which has a twin scroll 2 litre but no other features like 6 speed, Brembos, etc. look at the both like a WRX and sti

This is perfect apart from colour http://www.tradecarview.com/used_car...agon/15007937/
Can anybody explain what FOB price means?

FOB means Freight On Board price, that's the price to get it on the boat ie purchase price plus auction fees and Japanese duty.

Thanks for the info I'll take a closer look.
