Been out today and my ABS light has come on.

2001 wrx wagon. Previous to this there had been a feel
of grinding as if the abs was taking over at low speed
but this has now gone?

Got a mate coming with his obd reader to find out what's
going on but any ideas?

 

The ABS Sensor is fooked!

 

Mine was the n/s rear sensor, any good garage with diagnostics will be able to advise which one is faulty.

 

Either the sensor, or an abs ring cracked..

 

i had the exact same thing mate after changing my brakes, i found it was dirt and lill magnetic shavings all over my rear pasanger side abs sensor, have a good look at the sensors mate,

 

My mate is going to strip it down on my next weekend
off, reckons its probably just a dirty sensor.

Hopefully that's all it is as my love affair with subaru
has taken a beating since buying this one at Xmas.

Well, just been out and abs light is off now so has
seemingly fixed itself!?
