Default knocking

Hi my blobeye 05 is knocking and on the last mot is says front os has play in ball joint so whats needed to fix this please. And how much should it cost to fix.

Its easy enough job to change.New ball joint will cost you few quid,the only one problem what u may suffer is the rusty bolt holding the knuckle as they like snapping and then u ****.You can try drill out after but good luck with that.In the worse case scenario you just buy second hand wheel hub(make sure is coming ball joint free).Take it easy and u be alright.If u think u cannot handle it just let the garage do the job it wont be that expensive

Drench the nut in plenty of WD40 24 hours before you start the job.
