Default Thanks to Duncan!

Just want to say a big thanks to Duncan at Race Dynamix for coming out yesterday to map my car.

Had a hell of a weekend fitting the TD05 16G, hawkeye injectors, sports cat, up pipe etc etc etc. But the end result has been well worth it!!

It's a 2003 WRX PPP Wagon and it's now roughly 330 bhp and goes like stink . Sounds fantastic too.

I'm currently at 270bhp on my 03 WRX Wagon (full decat & remap) and looking at a VF35 plus STi injectors then remapping, hoping for 330-340bhp.
What made you choose the TD05 over the VF35?

I went with the TD05 purely because its a stronger more reliable turbo. And can be easily rebuilt if required. I wouldn't say it's anymore laggy than the TD04 was with the PPP map to be honest.

I am thinking of upgrading the turbo on my05 wagon, currently stage 1. Duncan has said that he is going to supply hybrid turbos soon, but I am undecided on which one; I was considering a TD04 hybrid, as I am more interested in drivability and low lag than bhp. Interested in your wagon experiences with different turbos ?

Hey, Hants wagon meet, seeing a few silver blob wagons down here in the forest, and an unusual dark blue one at Lymington the other day, Scotty

I can't feel anymore lag with the TD05 vs the TD04 with the PPP map, spools at about the same point too. As Duncan said to me on the day, there is no point on the graph that the TD04 would be making more than the TD05 is.

It's not lost any drivability at all, it has more torque, more power and holds boost much better into higher RPM than the TD04 could. Just more everything!
