i can understand not posting in the for sale section but not in the wanted section

i think you have got to be a full paid up member to post in wanted/for sale, but not 100% sure.

Yeh I think that's the reason but that means another member (maybe fully paid up member) looses out , I can understand to a degree but it's just a bit daft really , never mind

I suppose if someone wanted an item they could always post in this section (or is that forbidden?)

No you can't post adverts here. (see that sticky thread with the title in bold capitals )

We had too many jokers using abusing the wanted section. So it was locked down.
