To stop confusion I will use my personal account, rather than the webmaster one.
I did not really get involved in organising this years event, like I had done with the previous 2yrs of ScoobyLive. But from knowing what it is like to organise this event, I can only too well appreciate the stress involved.
Huge thanks to Simon, ScoobyLive Team, Trev, Straightliners Team, Chris, & TOTB Team.
As usual, the event ran smoothly and I am not sure who did it...... but the weather was unreal for May at Elvington!!! I have a sunburnt face to prove it!
Thanks, it was a great day out!
Regards,
Shaun

Second that
- I had a great time once again. My only gripe was that they ran out of burgers at around 14:30 when I stopped running and went for lunch!
Even won a prize
so thanks also to Lateral Performance
Looking forward to next year

Micky winning a prize was a great end to a great day, don't think he was expecting that, so a nice addition to the day.
For me, it was nice to meet even more people, putting faces to names, especially James, really nice bloke, nice meeting you.
Good weather too
I too have a burnt face, shame I was a wimp and never took my coat off all day... that wind was chilly.
I'd like to thank Shaun also.....
for not getting involved in the running of the event this year - which contributed so much to the success of the day!!

In all seriousness.. I now realise what stress you went through previous years mate.
I'm glad everyone had a great time. I certainly did.
Thanks to everyone who helped make it such a great fun day ..
all the clubs, traders, competitors, spectators and organisers.
It was good to see you all!

I would like to echo what has already been said..+ it was nice to talk to you Shaun face to face rather than via scoobynet even tho you were more like busby running about with your walkie talkie hopefully the event will be running again next year cos I for one will be there again.

Well, where do I start?
Just about everyone's already been mentioned.
Mark @ Lateral Performance for my totally unexpected prize,
hope it includes fitting. (Me - Hmm where does this go then
)
All the organisers for a very smoothly ran event.
Simon, who's a lot friendlier than he can be at times on here
Shaun's the grumpy one really, I think.
Chris Mann, Trevor(always want to call him Terry) Duckworth & the straightliners crew for making it work.
Lisa for having a debit card so I could enter.
The list goes on............
Met loads of people, same as last year, that I only knew online.
Last but not least, FHI for making the Impreza
Micky

I reckon without the wind the handling circuit new setup with 2 cars on track at the same time worked really well, hoping it's something like that for TOTB this year (if i make the team
)
)
the plan is for the same system at totb. a few pointers were found out at the weekend (as it is a brand new system), which i hope can be picked up on but i think it did work to move the cars through faster.
