Sorry for the delay in announcing this year's event. We have been working hard to secure dates for the event due to massive increases in noise restrictions at Elvington.

I'm please to say, we have secured a full "noisey" day!

Yeah mate how was that rain

 

the choice of dates this season was severely affected by the recently settled court case involving elvington. (we provisionally booked a few dates last year). however use of the airfield has now been cut back to reduce the overall no of events per year (incl F1 testing), so we had no choice but to run with the same date as previous, as other available dates were cancelled, incl the timed sprint series planned there this season.
saying that its a good weekend date, doesnt clash with any other events like japfest etc, and we'll have a cracking day as usual.

Yes that was me/us Thanks, yes he did pretty well considering he hadn't driven a car since the previous November. He was 16 with an International C Race Licence at ScoobyShootOut 2007

He'll be 17 this year so driving on the road and has a race drive in this



so wants to see if he can do any better this time around.

Though of course he would really like to be driving a Scooby he could win the event in!

 

Good stuff.

Can I borrow him for the handling circuit? He should be able to beat my 6hr lap.

sorry for delay in reply. i'm sending over the list of pre-paid comeptitors on monday, the official closing date is the 14th and we can then list everyone up.
competitors will get info/passes around the 19th, we have had a delay in printing the tickets thats all so we'd like to get them out in the same pack.
