I think so, reckon its gonna be oversubscribed tho, think last year a lot of people didn't enter cos they didn't think they had the right 'spec'd' car for it, but TBH it doesn't matter, tip up, do a few runs, have a burger, get **** wet thru then watch (or take part) in les finale.

 

It is first come, first served for competitor places which are limited in numbers.

 

Cheers mate, went to both last year, pity about all the rain, still a good day out, better if i can have ago, should be running around a 12 dead then, i will have to keep an eye out to see if it fills up, there were 2x evo's there last year,

Not me Wont pass noise regs

 

Didnt think you were getting your Evo 8 till the 28th May

Get a bung if your car is too noisey. If my car can record 98db with a bung in measured at 0.5m, then many others should be able to get through the test.

 

Got the bung, just don't want to put it in. Guess I'll have to if I want to have a go. Bladdy noise regs

P20SPD, Steven, (I think thats your name, sorry if it's not), what exhaust do you have on your wagon?

I have a Nur Spec R on my saloon.

Would the bung in make much difference on the drag strip? I'd probably be going too slow on the handling circuit for it to matter

I have a Lateral exhaust system, which is signifcantly quieter than the stupidly noisey Blitz. Running a bung will make a small difference, but probably not noticeable.

 

I will be there too, trying desperatley to stay ahead of Felly by one 10th again

Puff, hopefully with a bit more control, and less rain, but yes, fully looking forward to it, just hope the gearbox breaking has stopped! It cost me 2 uprated gearsets to finish 2nd in last years shootout!

 

Application and cheque in post today, lets see if i beat the rush
