ScoobyNet Live 2006 – Featuring Scooby ShootOut– Sunday 21st May, Elvington Airfield, York
The stage is set for the biggest Subaru specific event in the UK…… you really don’t want to miss out!!!
ScoobyNet Ltd in conjunction with Ten of the Best Ltd (TOTB -organisers of Scooby Shoot Out), are proud to announce the first ScoobyNet “Live” event, to be held on Sunday 21st May at Elvington Airfield near York. Timing and on-site facilities will be provided by Straightliners Ltd.
After previous successful Scooby Shoot Out events, ScoobyNet Ltd and Ten of the Best Ltd (TOTB) have now teamed up to provide the ultimate Subaru specific event in the UK. Not only will this event enable you to see some of the most powerful Subaru’s in the world tearing up the tarmac, but you will also be able to see demo drives by both Simon de Banke (The World Record Holder for Driving Sideways) and Litchfield/PowerStation’s MY06 T25 Spec C Race Car. Together with regional club areas, Traders arena and children’s area, this will be this years’ top family Subaru event!
Ever wanted to find out how quick your car is down the ¼ mile?
Ever wanted to find out how quick/good your car performs around a handling circuit?
At this event, not only can you watch these disciplines, but YOU can also take part in them whether you have 200bhp or 1000bhp! Trophies and prizes are awarded for all classes on the 1/4m strip with a separate award for the Handling Shootout winner.
Whether you want to see the fastest cars, try and beat the fastest cars, buy the latest Subaru products or just chat and meet with the rest of the Subaru community……. this will be the event NOT TO MISS this year!
What’s on at ScoobyNet Live 2006!
¼ Mile Drag Strip- Head to head 1/4m action with class trophies and Shootout Finals from 4.15pm.
Handling Circuit – A demanding sprint circuit with 5 times laps per car to sort out who’s the best! Handling shootout final at 4pm.
On-Site professional photography at the drag strip start line and handling circuit (various types of pictures of all runners will be available to purchase).
Prodrive Area
Traders Arena- Browse the stalls, pickup a bargain!
Regional Club Areas- Dedicated areas for Scoobynet Groups set aside from normal spectator parking.
Display Driving by Simon de Banke (Current World Record Holder for Driving Sideways) - CANCELLED due to SDB breaking his leg
Demo Laps of MY06 Type25 Spec C and MY06 Type25 Spec C Race Car around handling circuit by Litchfield Imports/PowerStation
Children’s Amusement Area

Elvington airfield is situated 7 miles south-east of York and 2 miles north-west of Elvington village. From the A64 it is signposted as the “Yorkshire Air museum”.

Entry from 9am for spectators, racing from 10.30am, shootout finals from 4pm finishing with trophy presentations at around 5pm.
Spectator/Entrance Fee's
Entrance to the event is £12 per person for spectators on the gate from 9am.
Children under 16yrs free entry if accompanied by parent/guardian.
Competitors Fee’s
Includes entrance to event (for one person), drag strip & handling circuit @ £55 per person in advance only. (Entry fee covers race fees and public liability insurance.)

Note: Winners of the Handling and Drag Shootouts will gain FREE entry to TOTB V on 30th July 2006 at Elvington.
