My latest scoob project - Project Blob
Ok well this project wont be know where near some of the amazing ones on here, but here goes just for fun...
Heres the car as i got her just 3 weeks ago, totally standard, 2 owners, FSSH & 70k, factory prodrive model with loads of history and orginal bill of sale..

1st job was a good clean, engine bay had never been touched...

after a quick de grease and clean...

Next job, the obigatory mudflaps, before...

After...

Next job to sort was the wheels, so went for some nice lightweight Rota force drifts, 9" wide!!!...

Some more cleaning and painting...

Next job, suspension, so over it was to Richard henrys for some BC coilovers fitting, whiteline front and rear anti roll bars plus drop links and a geom setup...

Was far too low though, not very practical and rear wheels where catching like crazy, so rasied it 10mm on the rear and 5mm on the front, much much better...

Then on went some wheel bling...

Huge RCM k&N and alloy trumpet arrived, this is normally used in the twisted setup, not seen one fitted in the standard position so wanted to see if i could make it fit...

So over it was to Andrew Carrs for him to work some magic and remap with mafless setup, anti lag, lauch control, 2 stage boost settings & flat foot shifting.
Filter on in standard position and even maintained cold air feed for now...

The fun switched, ALS and boost settings...

Next job and last one for now, front lip spoiler...

much better, then it was time to test the anti lag and lauch, so heres a quick vid, i love the subtle sound of the prodrive exhaust, but know i cant keep if for long...

Really pleased so far, handling improved, looks improved and performance improved and all in less than 3 weeks, so do i stop here....hmmm probably not as i just had to take this off Andrew Carrs hands..... lateral MD321T billet ceramic coated...

to be continued....

Very good progress in 3 weeks. I prefer the look of it at the height you said was too low, although there's not much point looking good if you can't drive it properly.
Do you know what the camber has been set to?

Not sure re camber, just asked for a nice fast road/track setup, certainly isn't to aggressive.

Nice project
you have got a lot done in just three weeks,it was to low before the way you have it now looks just about right.A nice mod to do next would be the Harvey up pipe and headers would make that turbo your going to fit more responsive.SJ.
Cheers guys!
Turbo going on don't you worry, just trying to source the supporting mods I.e. headers, uppipe, 3" decatted system, front mount, silicon inlet, catch can and a FPR.
