Default Race car look on a budget

Picked up this 1996 wrx a while ago was real rough round the edges but with a bit of time on my hands decided to build a race car look on a budget,

It's currently running 368bhp on a 2.1 stroker engine with a 6 speed box in need of a map once I get bigger injectors will be getting JGM in :-),

As it stands its a working project that 99% has been done by myself in my spare time so it's not near the finished article.

Then managed to get a ABW rear diffuser and made some stiffis, exhaust has now been tidied up and not so low,

Then on to the front end made up a splitter and fitted induction feed kit,

,

Fitted bonnet pins and raised the rear up a bit to allow better air flow,

,

Started making full roll cage to fia spec,

,

ABW arches and spacers on the way with a set of these wheels i am so in love with the colour and car off for full respray in 5wks to tidy it up round the edges,

,

Loads more to do and in total I have spent the grand sum of £350 minus wheels and arches :-).

Made by a friend who does race cars, been made to full FIA spec it's just the front the rear part goes in next week, Diffuser is a ABW one which I had given free of a race car, and splitter was made by myself :-).

Winglets made myself along with the splitter made from 12mm reinforced plastic, was made of 12mm ply real easy to make the brackets are the biggest pain.

No idea if you can buy them, I made mine from scratch total cost with bars £19.50. If you have a company that publish books ask them as its used to protect the books whilst on a pallet ;-).

Great job, and the splitter looks tidy. I've been looking for some plastic to make one myself but it seems so expensive. Book publishers you say

I can make as many as wanted from 12mm ply and supply all the brackets to fit the original holes, I have had mine way over 100mph and didn't budge a inch, but getting hold of the plastic on a large scale I will have to have a quiet word with my m8 ;-).
