Default '93 GX to V6 RA conversion from .Au

Hey guys, Just thought I'd post up my project from downunder. This started as an MY93 Impreza GX, FWD auto 1.8L. It was supposed to be a V6 Type-Ra replica, but as is always the case, things spiraled out of control.

Here she is the day I bought her

And this is how she sits currently

I'll post up some progress shots soon, but figured I'd give you a teaser to start with.

The reason I've started this thread is I'm looking at stripping the car in the following months and preparing the shell to GroupN specs. Now I won't be entering in GrpN gravel rallying, but I currently use it for motorsport (sprint and hillclimb events) and in the future I'm looking at Targa events (Targa Tasmania, Targa West, Targa New Zealand) where the regs specify a GrpN shell can be used.

I've had a bit of a search on the forums and have found David Wallis's thread as a good start, and the mention somewhere of a GroupN build manual, but was hoping you guys could point me in the direction of some other good threads, or documentation on what i can cut out of my shell, where to seam/spot weld etc. The car currently sits at 1150kg before i put the cage in, and I'd like to get it down to ~1100kg with half a tank ready to race.
