Default RA Project

Well some of you may remember my RA... and all the kind comments you left about it.... On NOT so nice as the case may be...back in 2005

https://www.scoobynet.com/members-ga...monza-wrx.html

Well i took the car off the road last June, and sold bits off... and it never looked like it was going to see the road ever again...

But a couple of months ago i got some inspiration to get it back on the road when i managed to get a cheap 2.5 short block from one of the Snet members...

So i sold my 2.0 forged block, and fitted my STi ported and polished heads.
and have built up my new 2.5 giving it the following spec.

EJ25 Short motor.
STi Ported heads.
STi Std cams.
RCMS Headers
TD06 20G (Not running a BOV)
H&S Decat down pipe and center decat.
Afterburner Vortex Back Box.
Blitz Induction Kit
FSE fuel pressure regulator
Nismo 740cc Injectors
Apexi FMIC

Once this is run in i will be having a Simtek ECU fitted with antilag and launch control.

so now the engine is out the way... it was time to Start on the bodywork....

as you will see from all the pics i have done the work myself, and it is a total transformation....

I have hundreds of pics of the work at various stages... so i will not put them all up... Just a few of them...

Now the Finished Article

the finish is like Glass.

Has taken nearly 3 weeks to do the Bodywork.

not a huge fan of the side skirts. mainly because i think ra's should be left without them. but a huge improvement on before front looks really mean now.

That bumper really suits having a front mount behind it.
