right people dont knock me for asking these if there dumb questions my mate wanting to put running gear out of a scooby in to a diffrent car make a street sleeper something looks normal battered etc until he puts hes foot down and hopfully shocks a few people

few things he wants to know can he do away with rear diff and just run fwd?? if this can be done whats involved also the doner car hes hoping to use is a cable clutch rather than hydralic like the impreza is there any other subarus that use a cable system or will he need to mod this also
