Default racing locost

After two years, numerous failings, lots of hard work, more than a few pounds of both flesh and money my locost home built kit car is finished and entered into the 750 motorclub locost series!!

My first ever race will be at Oulton Park on the 4th Sept. car number is 63. any scoobynetters out there who are attending are welcome to drop by and say hello!! ( if it's b4 the race I will look very pale and be s**ting myself!! If it's after i just hope I've finished and am still in one piece!!)

have loads of piccies if anyone is interested.

Nice one. What was the total build cost?

My old man's in the middle of a kind of hybrid book/Tiger build.

I've managed to get it in for 3.5K but I've made most of the brackets, wishbones etc myself as well as the chassis. I know the car won't be quick enough already as i've no electronic ignition, a hybrid exhaust and the wrong shocks but this year and next is just about getting some experience. if i really get into it then I'll spend more money getting the car quick enough and then it's down to me!!

Austen, I'll sort some pics out for you but i@m not very computer literate and don't know how to post them!!!
