waterspray v water injection...?

Question waterspray v water injection...?

I am still running a TMIC (albeit sti version) on my 99uk.
I have inherited a I/C waterspray system which I want to modify and fit before I get my new ecu mapped.
the kit contains:
pump (headlight washer)
pressure switch that activates the spray at 0.7bar
manual over-ride switch in the cabin to switch between on/off/auto modes
hosing to water tank, boost pressure hosing, hosing to pump etc.
water tank (loose description its a 5L plastic bottle)
nozzles to spray (mounted on a rail)

questions,

how could I modify the system so that it also activates thermostatically as well as pressure (or instead of pressure to be honest)?

The nozzles sit just over the i/c, and spray a mist over the fins when activated. is it worth trying to modify the nozzles so that they splice into the 90mm i/c pipe to spray directly within the i/c as opposed to onto the i/c?
(I assume this is the difference between injection and spray?)

So far the kit has cost me nada, zip, zero etc so I dont mnd spending a few quid to fine tune it, although my skills will be the shortfall in this case

what do you guys recommend, modify it or just leave it as standard or just run without it?

Check out Labtronics, an electronics company. They do a DIY or ready built control box that works on temp difference from throttlebody/TMIC Outlet and front wing ambient air temp and related to injector duty cycle.
So does not work on boost pressure but when needed by temp and engine is working hard.
Is easily adjustable with 2 pots on thebox, LEDs, etc. The box contains a relay and controls the outlet power to he pump.

Do NOT use that system for water injection. The pump must be a high pressure unit (which a headlight washer one is certainly not) and the jet size is very important. Leave it purely as water spray.... and the labtronics controller is very good for this (cheap too).

Any idea where you can get the automatic water spray presure switch's from?

usa ebay 7 pound look 4 water injection and look on orther sellers items they all sell them or australia ebay hobbs device
