The new scooby has a jet spray on the intercooler for enhanced performance. My thinking is,headlight washer sprays water on the headlights.Do you think a pipe that runs from this system could be diverted to the intercooler MY98 turbo to have the same effect?I.e.injecting some cool air into my intercooler?
Just an idea at this stage as,who uses this system anyway( I mean, waterspraying the headlights)!

Same here, already done. Please remember to use distillated water, do not use any additive that is flameable, as you will pour it on a hot I/C and below it you have the even hotter Turbo.
I change my tubing twice a year. I/C spray during summer time and with destilated water ( very cheap if you by it in 25 liters can) and back to head light spray during winter with antifreeze windscreen wash. Works well, and on track days I can lower my inlet temp around 20 deg. From around 60 to 40.(Hard track driving with ambient temp of 25deg.) I plan to get it automated as it is a problem to hit the washer buttom on the track.
