Finally sold the forester, let it go for £7800 in the end far too cheap. Daniel from Romania travelled all the way to Edinburgh to purchase the car. It was sent away on a transporter and arrived safely just before Christmas. Wish the best of luck to the new owner who intends to fix up the rust and finish the project off. I'm sure he will upload some pictures to the thread to keep you all updated.
