I'm currently getting the engine built in a 99 dark blue turbo 2000 I picked up a few months ago! nice colour

Engine mods I guess, looking for a dump valve for it at the moment.

I'd stick with the OE valve tbh to avoid any potential running issues.. or go for an aftermarket re circulation valve.
