Default major project help needed

Help Needed
I am fairly new to the Scooby scene I believe I'm inheriting a 2000 sti uk spec this will be a demo/show car for a detailing/plasti dip shop. With a budget around £10000 I want to be hitting around 600whp is this possible and if so what do I need ideally step by step.
Many Thanks
Alex

You need considerably more money than that for 600WHP. Your engine al9ne will cost 10.

Maybe 400hp with a sc42 or similar 10k could do that along with supporting mods.

Sti 8 engine £1000
SC42
Alcatek ecu £1200
Exhaust manifolds £700
Upgraded brakes front and rear £1000
AVCS upgrade looms etc £250
Coilovers and suspension upgrades to suit £1000
Plus fuel system, fmic, and all the other ancillaries

10k will disappear very quickly once you get into it

6 speed gearbox to start with. And a clutch that can hold it. Asperformance is the place to go.
I would personally build a forged 2.5 with asp closed deck inserts and 14mm head studs, this can be done using any ej25 engine.
The ej25 is a weak engine in standard form but when forged and inserts fitted it's a different animal. It's easier to make big numbers the more displacement you have.
GT spec manifold
RCM rotated kit
Alcatek ECU
Hdi gt2 front mount intercooler
Walbro 450lph fuel pump
ID1000 cc injectors
Fuel lab pressure reg
3 port catch can
Gtx3076r turbo
Tial 44mm wastegate
Oil feed and oil drain
100mm air filter
100mm turbo inlet
3 inch exhaust

That lot should make the power, but then it's up to you and how youre gonna drive it to decide if you need coil overs or just uprated dampers or neither.
I have that setup on my car and find that now I'm used to it, the standard widetrack suspension and brakes cope perfectly well on the road, it would be a different story on the track.
Phone alyn from as performance in a week or so when he get back to the shop and he will keep you right.
Best of luck
Gary

No need for rotated manifold, plenty of standard position turbos that can do in excess of 500hp

He doesn't have the budget for 600hp as we had already discussed 😊let alone whp.

Needs to be doubled at least for 600WHP!

This whole whp thing seems to be filtering over from the states, they claim 365whp from a vf39 turbo on E85 fuel! Not sure what calculations they use for whp but they claim some optimistic figures

What would you expect 600whp to be at the fly wheel because that is some serious power.
My car has A LOT less, is way fast enough and cost me a hell of a lot more than 10k

Do they not say its something like an estimated 20% loss from flywheel to wheels, something stupid like that.

Surely for WHP there are no calculations - that's the point?
