02 Bug STI PPP
So, after a short search I've ended up with this. I was originally looking for a blob but this came up with a deal I couldn't refuse.
Spec is:
2002 Type UK WRX STI with Prodrive Performance Pack
One owner from new
Full Milltek/Prodrive exhaust/sports cat
Walbro fuel pump
Ecutek map -1.4 bar
Defi control box with boost, gear shift and knock indication
Anti-lift kit
BC coilovers (damping/camber adjustable)
Prodrive Forged 18" wheels
Prodrive headlights and vents
STI fog lamp covers.
I took it to Scoobyclinic on Saturday and had some fairly mixed news. Although the car appears to have been meticulously maintained (3-4000 miles between services and a massive folder of receipts) the underside appears to have been neglected. The result is some corroded sills at the back and some corrosion set in on the front/rear subframes and horsehoe bar.
The plan is to track some of these down, get them replaced, fix the sills then waxoil the lot.
I don't think I'm sold on the PPF7 rims or the BC coils. I'm debating switching to 17" wheels with 'normal' suspension, such as bilstien dampers/eibach springs.
I've no idea how much genuine PFF or BCs are worth - any suggestions?

I think they're BRs. A bit difficult to say when fitted as the receipts only cover some Apex coilovers, can't see anything for BC other than receipt for top plates and 5kg springs.
Did you go for brand new or secondhand frames? Scoobyclinic quoted £165+vat plus £100 fitting for each. Fitting seems reasonable but looking on ebay cost seems high for secondhand frames.
Also quoted £250 for strip and waxoil. My mate had his MX5 done for £85!
Getting second opinions on it all at Sheffield Scooby Servicing this week.
