Default Rallytech track car project.

OK guys. Seemed like time to post our project here.

We've been doing a project thread on other forums but didn't feel like a lot of the stuff on there was to relevant compared to what's going on now.....so this thread is starting just from the stuff we've done over the past few months.

Engine ready for rebuild;

Next job was to panel beat all of the damaged panels;

Then back onto the lift to change the transmission;

Next is to skim over the body panels with filler;

Then strip everything back again to prepare for stitch welding the entire car;

Stitch welding starts on Monday and hopefully will be finished on Wednesday. As soon as that's done it's getting a full weld in roll cage.

Will update the thread with pics as and when stuff gets done

That's a pretty cool way of getting a 2 door, did you know it would fit that well before starting it?

Hi mate yes we checked everything before we started.

Haha, I though a cut and shut was where two (or more) cars were welded together? Our car we just changed the pillar position and exterior panels - chassis was not cut....

OK, so quick update. Shell is being prepped for stitch welding....
Hopefully should be ready this week. Then it's time for the roll cage
