Default 4 Pin ECU - No sticker code on casing

Came from a friends shed,he had 2 others which were z4`s but sold those but this one has no sticker code on the casing so he gave me it,cheers ,anyhoo,i plugged it into my WRX and it started and ran,no check engine lights came on.
i drove it for about 1 mile and no spluttering etc but stil dont know what type of ECU it is.

Open to offers on it if anyone knows what it is/wants a spare ecu to play with.

cheers
