Default AE800 ECU

Hi Ryan, AFAIK the important number is the AE800, this means it is an early 99 ECU which is supposed to have a slightly better map both in terms of power & fuel consumption compared to the AE802 (MY 2000) ECU.It can be swapped directly for an AE802 without any "Key programming".They used to go for £100 but now I'm guessing about half that.Whether it's chipped or not I have no idea.
Try phoning a Subaru specialist breakers like Grade A, HDC or Jap Performance parts & ask what they charge then scale down a bit
Cheers John
