I have for sale a Cobra 3" full cat-back exhaust system which will fit classics and I believe bug eyes also... it'll fit blob eyes, only difference being the rear hanger behind the back box is the wrong way round for blobs.
Ita a straight exit 4" tail pipe as can be seen by the pics. Not the loudest exhaust, but by no means quiet!
Its in one piece at the mo, but I can split it up in two pieces if required.

£190
p&p anywhere in the UK + £20
Collection from HA8... (I can deliver to local area if necessary + £20)

I do also offer a fitting service, so if you came to collect this system I could fit it to your car and you can then take your old zorst with you (or if its cak leave it with me and I'll dump it for you free of charge).
Fitting + gaskets = £20
...and with that you get as much tea as you can drink in half an hour
...biscuits may also be supplied

It came off of a 99 classic so I can guarantee you it will
Have I done the title wrong? Did I do that > the wrong way round? I do get confused with those greater than and less than signs..
This will fit all classics and bug eyes... and blob if you move the rear hanger to the other side of the pipe, but you dont really need that hanger as the rear boxes 2 do the job well enuf

Dont suppose you have a downpipe too? Sorry for asking so many daft quetions, its just that the downpipe i have on is a sleeve fit, not flange as per your system. I am very intrerested in buying this, but lack of funds for the next 2 weeks. Dont want to mess you bout, but if its still here come the 26th, i would like to say i will have it.

I'm also waitin for the 26th payday...
I do have a down-pipe... its a Megan racing one, fully heat wrapped, but its for newage (difference being its ever so slightly longer in length approx 3").
But I'm not sellin that cheap!

Do you think it would be easy enough to have the flange cut off at the downpipe end to match up with my sleeve fit? I can get a garage to do the work for me, shouldnt be a problem would it?

OOOOOH wait a minute Kris... I do have a down-pipe... Its a bell mouth 3" down to 2.5" flange with sports cat (and was on the car attached to this system).
I totally forgot as its currently still on the car but is due off in a couple weeks... just after 26th as it goes
The reason its coming off and being changed over is coz its got a sports cat in it and (this is my brothers car we're talking about), he's got a simtek to go with anti-lag which is not cat-friendly, so he's got another bell mouth 3" to go on with no cats in it.
So yes, long story short, I do have a down pipe for sale which you can have with the exhaust...
Price for bell mouth down-pipe with sports cat = £100

If it goes down to a 2.5, then wouldnt that not fit to the 3 inch cobra system?
If the flange on the downpipe side can be cut, all i need to know is if the bore of the system by the flange is 3 inch, then i can get it sorted.

The 2.5" flange has a sleeve on it (I think as most usually do and I cant remember if that one also does), but you fit a conical gasket over that which also helps position and centre the exhaust system so will fit perfectly
You can get those gaskets all over ebay, they look like loads and loads of metal fibres wrapped round and round to form a tappered o-ring... prices range from £5-30 so just make sure you dont buy it from TSL otherwise the price you pay will be the latter.
I'll get a few pics of it over the weekend as I'm planning to be laying under his car probably 2moro morning and will double check the flange... even so, a few 3" gaskets sandwiched between will do the trick and you really dont need to go to all that other trouble cutting and welding etc...

Alex, is the downpipe end of the centre pipe also 3".
I have a 3" cobra race pipe which needs to come off asap, but the centre pipe is 2 1/2" at the downpipe end..... Although I could just fit the backbox for now.
Are you available over the weekend to fit this?
Barry

Yes the down pipe end of the centre pipe is 3"
I'm not available this weekend I'm affraid.
What is it you're after, having this 3" system fitted to your current down pipe?

Believe it or not, 2.5" to 3" is a direct fit using a conical gasket.
The 5-6mm diameter difference at the flange is negligable and will not effect over all performance.

Pics of the sports cat down pipe attached to a full 3" system on the car...
As you can see the two fit together perfectly so the 3" system being sold here will fit the 2.5" flange of the 3" down pipe on the car.
