What will this fit (for us that know sod all about the numbers )

 

you'll have to check under your bonnet for the gearbox code to see if it matches otherwise harvey could proberley sell you the diff aswell so it could work with any impreza from 92-00 if im correct

 

It will fit any Classic Scooby. As it is TY 752 best to fit it to M/Y 93-98. It should be fitted to a car that already has a 4.11 rear diff or you need the 4.11 diff I also have for sale (£150) as kindly pointed out by AK.
Check your VIN plate for your TY numbers and I can tell you what you have and how this compares. This is a low ratio box. ie fast acceleration but not a high top speed if that helps you.
We will install for £155 plus lubricant if required.

 

Ratios on this box if it helps are 3.545 1st, 2.062, 1.448, 1.088 and .825 top. With the 4.11 rear diff this will, subject to rev limit of 7k give around 136 mph top speed.
Drop gear as per all Japs is 1.0 :1 and it has viscuous centre diff.

what the milage of the box. will 325bhp an 319lbft destroy box in no time or depends how it driven?

 

73,361 mls from new and currently probably 280 bhp max.

Some people can break anything. I ran one of these boxes for at least five years and only broke it after it was around 380 bhp and had been for some time. M ost of its life was at or above 350bhp.
